Welding tee is a section of main pipe plus a small branch pipe. Obviously, the two larger sizes are main pipes, and the smaller one that comes out of them is the branch pipe. In pure oxygen pipelines, there is usually pressure, and the oxygen is active. Larger; if a welding tee is used, as long as the sundries in the tube move with the oxygen flow, the change in the flow rate may cause the sundries to collide with the tube due to the change of the tube diameter. All may cause the pure oxygen tube to catch fire.
